Purpose of the Job:
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective procurement of strategic raw materials and indirect goods/services needed for our production processes. This role requires skilled sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing decisions made in alignment with Synthomer's policies.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to maximize value and reduce costs.
  • Identify global sourcing opportunities for our Middle East manufacturing sites.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with our corporate ethics policies.
  • Support initiatives aimed at achieving sustainability goals in procurement activities.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to solve performance issues and improve processes.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred.
  • 35 years of procurement experience, particularly in the basic chemical/petrochemicals field.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills, alongside proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel 2550% of the time across the Middle East and beyond.
