- Building and developing the procurement department and creating procurement plans and formulating policies and procedures
- Providing each department's raw material needs and establishing an appropriate budget
- Building and developing an annual plan for the necessary raw material needs
- Continuously searching for new suppliers of raw materials used in manufacturing or operations
- Building and developing strong relationships with suppliers and maintaining them
- Creating a periodic plan at the end of each year and updating policies and procedures
- Building various structures and models used in the procurement department
- Keeping files of internal and external purchase requests, quotations, and contracts
- Maintaining constant communication with the warehouse management regarding stock shortages and the capacity of storage and the stock turnover rate
- Preparing orders received from different departments and sending them to approved suppliers and following up until receipt
- Reviewing suppliers' offers and responding positively or negatively
- Following up on changes that occur in raw material prices periodically
- Contacting the requesting party for the goods and following up on the required materials at the right time and in the right way
Conditions and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience in procurement management of not less than 7 years

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Objective:
Lead and develop the procurement department to ensure the supply of high-quality materials, services, and equipment at a reasonable cost and on time, supporting the implementation of contracting and real estate development projects efficiently and effectively, while building strategic relationships with suppliers and achieving cost savings.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing a procurement strategy in line with the company's objectives and projects.
  • Supervising the processes of supplier search, negotiation, selection of accredited suppliers, and periodic performance evaluation.
  • Managing and concluding contracts and supply agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
  • Direct coordination with engineering and technical departments to accurately determine project needs.
  • Monitoring and organizing inventory in cooperation with warehouses, avoiding any shortages or surpluses.
  • Preparing and following up on the procurement budget and ensuring adherence to it while achieving the best saving ratios.
  • Developing and documenting procurement policies and procedures and updating them continuously.

  • Managing the procurement team, distributing tasks, and overseeing the training and development of members.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferably with an additional qualification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management).
  • Practical experience of no less than 58 years in procurement, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership position in contracting or real estate development companies.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and suppliers in both local and international markets.
  • Strong negotiation, contract drafting, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written (knowledge of additional languages is preferred).
