Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food Quality Associate who will be responsible for monitoring the quality of all incoming and outgoing materials and products, as well as the production procedures. Your role will be fundamental in advocating for quality throughout our operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain records of quality reports and relevant documentation.
  • Formulate procedures for inspecting and reporting quality issues.
  • Monitor all operations that impact quality.
  • Implement preventative measures to mitigate health hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with checklist requirements.
  • Conduct audits for the production floor and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality and safety issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis with suppliers for recurring issues.
  • Inspect procedures throughout the production cycle for efficiency and compliance with standards.
  • Implement and maintain food safety goals and compliance policies.
  • Ensure legal standards are consistently met.
  • Identify recurring quality defects and recommend solutions.
  • Train the team on food safety and best practices.
  • Ensure a safe and adequate working environment.
  • Represent Calo positively to employees, customers, and the community.

Ideal Candidate:
Qualifications:
  • A fresh graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Biological Sciences, or a relevant field.
  • General knowledge of quality standard methodologies.
  • Must be based in Saudi Arabia.
  • Eligibility for Tamheer Program is preferred.

Knowledge and Competency:
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and results-oriented.
  • Fast learner, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Ability to promote a food safety culture.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Pleasant personality with the ability to lead with empathy.
