Join our team at Novotel Hotels in Medina, Saudi Arabia as a Chief Accountant, where you will be an integral part of our financial operations and contribute to our mission of responsible hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian accounting standards, regulations, and Islamic finance principles
  • Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and internal controls
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team
  • Participate in budgeting processes and financial planning initiatives
  • Monitor cash flow and manage treasury operations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional accounting certification (*, CPA, SOCPA) strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in a corporate environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting standards
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic
