About the Role
Join Novotel Hotels as a Purchasing Manager, a pivotal role within our dynamic team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage all purchasing activities, cultivate vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans to optimize cost savings and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage the procurement process from identifying needs to finalizing purchases.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to fulfill departmental needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Implement inventory control systems to optimize stock levels.
  • Prepare and analyze purchasing reports to support decision-making.
  • Stay informed about international trade regulations and customs affecting procurement.
  • Continuously improve purchasing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, ideally within the Middle East.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor management.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a successful track record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Understanding of local business practices and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
  • Professional certification such as CPM or CPSM is preferred.
