Job Summary:The Payroll Accountant is responsible for managing all payroll-related processes within the Human Resources Department. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, handles employee financial transactions, manages HR-related invoices, and prepares the HR department’s annual budget. The Payroll Accountant also ensures full compliance with local labor laws and internal company policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and manage monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Maintain and update employee data, including salary changes, deductions, overtime, and allowances.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, local labor laws, and internal company policies.
- Prepare payroll reports for management and audit purposes.
- Manage all HR-related financial transactions, including end-of-service benefits, leave settlements, and other compensations.
- Handle HR department invoices with proper documentation, verification, and payment follow-up.
- Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure accurate posting of payroll entries.
- Prepare and monitor the HR department’s annual budget and track monthly expenditures.
- Maintain accurate payroll and financial records using accounting and HR software.
- Support internal and external audits related to payroll and HR financial activities.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience in payroll management or HR accounting.
- Strong knowledge of payroll practices and local labor laws.
- Proficiency in using HR and accounting software systems such as Manitech and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
