Join RGH-Global as an Electrical Supervisor!We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our shift engineering team in managing electrical and mechanical systems within a data centre. This is a critical maintenance role requiring expertise in data centre and critical environments.
Job Purpose:Your main responsibility will be to ensure the operation, maintenance, and reliability of all critical infrastructure, supporting continuous uptime while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise a team of shift engineers and technicians across electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Oversee operation and maintenance of systems like UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, chillers, and fire suppression.
- Ensure execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to established protocols.
- Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues during the shift.
- Conduct shift handovers, incident reporting, and performance reviews.
- Manage vendor and contractor activities as per SLAs and safety protocols.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and compliance records.
- Participate in audits, risk assessments, and capacity planning.
- Support training and development of shift staff.
Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; Master's preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in data centre or critical infrastructure environments, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and data centre operations.
- Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier levels, TIA-942, NFPA, ASHRAE, and IEC standards.
- Experience with BMS, SCADA, and CAFM systems.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:- Project management certification (*, PMP) or facilities management credentials (*, IFMA, BICSI).
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations and make informed decisions.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
