Join SEK International Schools as an Art & Design Teacher!We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative educator to work from Nursery to Grade 10, helping children express their creativity through art and design. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the artistic and design learning environment in a new, evolving school.
The Role: You will deliver an engaging Art curriculum for all students, adapting your methods to support diverse learning needs, from early childhood to secondary education. You will also lead Design classes and manage a makerspace, integrating inquiry-based learning and hands-on problem-solving into student projects.
- Art:
- Teach art modules weekly to students from Nursery through Grade 10.
- Focus on developmentally appropriate practices for Early Years and Primary students.
- Design & Makerspace:
- Conduct two design modules weekly in the IB Middle Years Programme, encouraging creativity and innovation.
- Lead the makerspace as a hub for inquiry-based learning.
Wider Contributions: As a startup school, every staff member participates in school life beyond teaching duties, such as supporting communications and engaging in extracurricular activities. Skills in photography, marketing, or social media are valued but not required.
