Join Hyatt Place Al Ula as a Purchasing Manager! We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla, a significant addition to Hyatt’s expansion in the region. Your role is crucial in ensuring the success of our pre-opening operations aligned with Hyatt International’s corporate strategies and brand standards, while meeting the expectations of our employees, guests, and owners.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead pre-opening planning, procurement setup, and sourcing strategies, focusing on sustainable practices.
- Drive vendor development and onboarding, ensuring supplier compliance with quality, ethical, and sustainability standards.
- Manage all purchasing activities in accordance with hotel policies and brand standards.
- Ensure timely availability of materials for pre-opening and ongoing operations.
- Maintain strong purchasing controls and compliance standards.
- Support cost control and inventory accuracy while promoting sustainable procurement decisions.
Qualifications & Experience:- University degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Finance, or Hospitality/Tourism Management.
- Professional certifications (*, CIPS, CPSM) are advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Purchasing Manager or Assistant Purchasing Manager.
- Pre-opening hotel experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
