Position Overview:
Join AlSafwa Cement Co. as a Mechanical Technician, where you will execute field activities related to mechanical maintenance with a primary focus on safety in your area of operation. You will troubleshoot mechanical equipment and perform initial inspections to ensure optimal functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply all safety standards and procedures during mechanical maintenance activities and take ownership of safety for yourself and your coworkers.
  • Perform maintenance tasks for urgent issues, weekly preventive maintenance, and overall shutdowns safely and within specified time frames.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of mechanical equipment to identify any discrepancies.
  • Execute troubleshooting for mechanical equipment issues.
  • Provide feedback to your designated leader, detailing tasks completed and any problems encountered during your duties.
  • Support and assist coworkers in inspections and other interfacing sections to complete all allocated jobs.

Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Technician

Experience:
14 years of experience in a similar function.

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 22 Kilos.
  • Adeptness with heavy shop equipment and tools.
  • Proficient in following instructions in English, both written and verbal.
  • Availability for overtime and flexible shifts when required.
