Join Our Team as a Mathematics Teacher!We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Mathematics Teacher for the Senior School at the British School Dhahran. This role is essential in delivering mathematics to Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, and being a key member of our dedicated academic team.
Position Overview:The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to child safety and security. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with our curricular goals, infusing creativity and innovation in your teaching approach.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans.
- Create a student-centered learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress effectively.
- Support the diverse needs of students in the classroom.
- Serve as a form tutor promoting student wellbeing.
- Responsible for other duties assigned by the Headteacher.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mathematics (master’s preferred) along with current teaching certification.
Experience and Skills:Prior experience in teaching KS3, IGCSE, and A levels is preferred. Familiarity with G Suite applications and a track record of professional development is essential.
Excellent communication skills in English and good interpersonal abilities are required for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
