Key Responsibilities:- Arrange daily activities based on the urgency of requests for fluid samples.
- Identify patients and verify their personal information using IDs or documents.
- Determine the appropriate venipuncture method based on patient factors.
- Reassure and assist patients to ensure their comfort.
- Locate suitable veins for blood draws.
- Collect blood using sterilized needles and equipment.
- Ensure proper labeling and quality of samples for testing.
- Provide information and answer patient inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of specimens and tests.
- Adhere to health and safety standards while working.
- Assist with blood transfusions as necessary.
- Comply with laboratory standards for infection prevention and control.
Qualifications and Experience:- Higher Diploma in Medical Lab Technology or equivalent.
- Current Registration in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting.
