Join IHG Hotels & Resorts as a Financial Accountant!In this pivotal role, you will assist in managing the hotel's accounting operations and financial controls to ensure accurate financial reporting while supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
Your Responsibilities:- Prepare and record journal entries for daily and month-end transactions.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and distribute reports to management.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor and control cash flow activities, including payments, deposits, and collections.
- Review and approve payment requests, petty cash, and employee advances.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost control.
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
What We Need From You:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
