Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Aftermarket Spare Parts Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical product knowledge with strategic account management to drive revenue and maximize customer satisfaction within our inter-company channel. This role is a critical link between our customer and our internal operations, ensuring seamless execution from sales strategy to order fulfillment.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic sales and account growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed ambitious revenue and growth targets for the assigned channel. Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
  • Operational collaboration: Collaborate with inter-company account operations to align sales forecasts with stock planning and inventory management.
  • Technical expertise and customer support: Provide technical support and product expertise to assist customers in troubleshooting issues and recommending optimal spare parts.
  • Market and customer analysis: Gather and interpret customer feedback and market intelligence to inform sales strategies.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify and implement solutions to increase sales efficiency and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of proven sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrable experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, preferably Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred qualifications include experience in HVAC, automotive, or industrial machinery sectors.

About the Role
The Sales Engineer – Commercial & Industrial Refrigeration is based in Jeddah, and is responsible for driving Sales and Project conversion across the KSA market by delivering optimized refrigeration solutions. The role focuses on application analysis, system selection, and techno-commercial proposal development aligned with customer requirements. Working closely with sales, execution, and service teams, the position ensures successful project delivery, order conversion, and customer satisfaction.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Act as a technical sales specialist for Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration systems, ensuring customer requirements are translated into optimal engineering solutions.
  • Analyze customer applications and recommend appropriate refrigeration systems based on cooling capacity, energy efficiency, load calculations, compliance standards, and lifecycle cost.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, system proposals, and solution demonstrations to consultants, contractors, end users, and key decision-makers.
  • Provide pre-sales engineering support, including product selection, system configuration, preliminary design input, and technical clarifications.
  • Support post-sales activities by coordinating with service, execution, and CS teams to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, develop, and track new refrigeration projects and business opportunities across KSA, converting leads into secured orders and revenue.
  • Collaborate with account managers and internal stakeholders to develop competitive technical-commercial proposals, tenders, and cost estimates.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts (monthly and annual) and regularly update opportunities and commitments in Salesforce/CRM.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor solutions, and regulatory standards, and provide structured feedback to product and solution teams.
  • Promote Daikin and affiliated refrigeration brands and turnkey solutions, ensuring alignment with customer applications and project requirements.

What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration sales, preferably within large-scale or project-based environments.
  • Experience working with Industrial Refrigeration Products and Ammonia systems is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of industrial and commercial refrigeration systems, applications, and solution-based selling.
  • Solid knowledge of engineering fundamentals, system costing, and techno-commercial evaluations.
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships, influence decision-makers, and negotiate commercial terms effectively.
  • Experience in dealer development, channel management, and achieving agreed KPIs and sales targets.
  • Proficiency in order management, CRM usage, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Ability to coordinate closely with operations, execution, and finance teams to ensure timely billing, invoicing, and payment collection.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and reporting skills with excellent time management and stakeholder coordination.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence, responsiveness, and reliability.
