Key Responsibilities:- Process and confirm guest room reservations made via phone, letter, or fax.
- Input all reservations into the computer, maintaining accurate records of all pertinent information.
- Attend to inquiries, complaints, and requests regarding reservations.
- Stay updated on all hotel promotions and follow established procedures for process room reservations and rates.
- Demonstrate complete product knowledge and apply rate management effectively.
- Maintain an established filing system for correspondence and generate necessary reports.
- Promote and maintain good public relations to maximize business opportunities.
- Ensure room status is accurately maintained at all times.
- Answer all incoming calls according to Rotana standards and manage information received via fax and email.
- Organize visa requests for hotel guests per hotel policy and identify opportunities to up-sell services.
Skills and Qualifications:You should have a diploma or degree in hospitality and previous experience in hotel reservations. Proficiency in computer use, alongside excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus), is also essential.
