Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Supervise food preparation and cooking processes for consistency with approved recipes.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to assign tasks and ensure timely food service.
- Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients and manage food inventory to avoid shortages.
- Control food costs by minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of ingredients.
- Develop new menu items or improve existing recipes based on guest preferences.
- Respond professionally to guest feedback and complaints related to food quality.
- Train junior chefs and kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and hygiene standards.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary arts certification is a plus.
- 2–5 years of experience as an Indian Chef or in Indian cuisine preparation.
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices and traditional cooking methods.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
