Join Rotana Hotels as a Reservations Agent!We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic guest-focused Revenue professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As a Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for maintaining effective communication on all reservations made to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing and confirming guest room reservations made by clients via phone, letter, or fax.
- Inputting all reservations into the computer and attending to inquiries, complaints, and requests regarding reservations.
- Staying updated with all promotions in and around the hotel and following established procedures for processing room reservations, rates, confirmations, and hotel facilities.
- Showing complete product knowledge and understanding of the rate structure to apply rate management.
- Maintaining an established filing system for all correspondence and collating reports as required by the Reservations Manager or Supervisor.
- Promoting and maintaining good public relations to maximize business.
- Ensuring accurate room status at all times.
- Answering all incoming calls as per Rotana standards and managing email communications.
- Organizing visa requests for hotel guests as per hotel policy and upselling whenever an opportunity is identified.
Skills and Qualifications:You should possess a diploma/degree in the hospitality field with previous experience in hotel reservations. You must be computer literate, with excellent communication skills and written and oral proficiency in English. Additional language skills are considered an asset.
