Key Responsibilities: - Process and confirm guest room reservations made by clients via phone, letter, or fax.
- Record all pertinent information into our system and manage inquiries, complaints, and requests regarding reservations.
- Stay informed about promotions in and around the hotel and process all room reservations, rates, confirmations, etc. according to established procedures.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all correspondence and prepare reports as required by the Reservations Manager or Supervisor.
- Promote and maintain good public relations while maximizing business opportunities.
- Ensure accurate room status at all times and answer incoming calls per Rotana standards.
- Organize visa requests for hotel guests as per hotel policy and identify upselling opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications: - A diploma/degree in hospitality or a related field.
- Previous experience in hotel reservations is required.
- Proficiency in computer skills with excellent communication skills in English. Additional languages are a plus.
- A customer-focused, proactive personality with a courteous and dynamic approach.
- Ability to work independently and establish effective relationships with both internal and external customers.
