We are seeking a passionate and creative Art & Design Teacher for a combined role spanning from Nursery to Grade 10. This position is perfect for educators who thrive in a dynamic environment and are excited about shaping the art and design curriculum in a growing school.

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will deliver Art across the whole school (IB PYP & MYP) and Design (MYP), tailoring their approach to meet the developmental needs of students ranging from early childhood through to secondary.

Academic Responsibilities:
  • Art (Nursery–Grade 10):
    • Teach one module per week from Nursery to Grade 10.
    • Focus on Early Years and Primary, using developmentally appropriate practices.
    • Adapt teaching methods for upper primary and secondary to enhance skills, creativity, and understanding.
  • Design & Makerspace (MYP):
    • Lead two modules per week within the IB Middle Years Programme in multigrade classes.
    • Manage the makerspace, creating an inquiry-based learning environment aligned with the IB Design cycle.
    • Collaborate with PYP Homeroom teachers to integrate design principles and makerspace activities.
Contributions Beyond Teaching:
All staff will contribute to various aspects of school life: supporting school communications, documenting learning experiences, promoting extracurricular activities in robotics and creative technologies, and remaining flexible to assist in evolving school needs.
