Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial operations, including the accurate recording of all financial transactions.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Maintain precise general ledger entries, ensuring all financial activities are properly documented.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Actively participate in and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights and analysis.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.
  • Support effective cash flow management to optimize the company's financial liquidity.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal policies, and local regulations.
  • Assist with internal and external audits and provide support for financial analysis as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and general ledger management.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, preferably in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet applications, including ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage accounts payable and receivable processes, conduct reconciliations, and track cash flow effectively.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all numerical work.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, effectively prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is considered an advantage.
