Role Overview:The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This position requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and the ability to analyze financial data effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and analyze financial statements, such as income statements and balance sheets.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial report preparation.
- Record daily financial transactions, reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain and update the general ledger accurately.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget variances and provide insights for cost control.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Preference for candidates currently residing in Jeddah.
