Key Responsibilities:- Translate written documents including audit reports, correspondence, and technical materials from English to Chinese and vice versa.
- Provide real-time interpretation services during factory visits, ensuring clear communication between auditors and factory staff.
- Assist in understanding Chinese language documents and cultural nuances pertinent to our audit processes.
- Act as a communication liaison to bridge the understanding between English and Chinese speakers.
- Maintain accurate records of all translated documents and interpretation discussions.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity while working with diverse teams.
Qualifications:- Fluency in English and Chinese with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Prior experience in translation and interpretation, ideally in industrial settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships.
- Attention to detail and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics or a related field preferred.
- Certification in translation and interpretation is advantageous.
