Job Purpose:To supervise and perform maintenance activities on mechanical systems in the poultry processing plant (outside the main production line), ensuring equipment reliability, effective troubleshooting, and safe, efficient operation of all assigned facilities.
Job Responsibilities:- Design maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
- Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
- Diagnose mechanical breakdown problems.
- Fit new parts and ensure equipment is working correctly.
- Carry out quality inspections on maintenance jobs.
- Utilize proper safety techniques and equipment to promote safety for self and others.
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul mechanical systems used in processing support areas, including:
- Rendering Plant
- WWTP
- RO Plant
- Pumps, gearboxes, and motors
- (Haarslev & Nijhuis Technologies)
- Perform daily maintenance of poultry processing plant equipment and facilities.
- Record and document maintenance activities daily and routinely.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
Requirements:- Mechanical Technician background.
- Minimum of 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably within the poultry industry, rendering plant, or utilities.
- Proficiency in the English language.
