About the Driver Role
PaxOcean is seeking a dedicated Driver to join its team in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia. The primary function of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of workers between accommodation facilities and the project site/yard. This position requires a strong commitment to safety protocols, adherence to all traffic regulations, and compliance with company policies to guarantee timely and secure transit for all passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport workers between the dormitory and the yard according to scheduled timings.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit.
- Adhere strictly to all local traffic rules and company safety regulations.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks, including fuel level, engine condition, and overall cleanliness.
- Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Assist in coordinating transport schedules when required.
- Ensure punctuality and reliability in all transportation duties.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a valid Saudi Arabia driving license appropriate for the assigned vehicle (*, bus/van).
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant driving experience, with a preference for experience in worker transportation.
- Good knowledge of local traffic regulations and common routes within the operational area.
- A strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and a high level of safety awareness.
- Ability to communicate basic instructions in English.
- Must be physically fit and capable of working in a site-based environment.
- A Diploma in a relevant field is required.
