Introduction to the role: The Data Management Engineer (Mechanical Engineer) is responsible for managing and maintaining all documents and records related to mechanical engineering, focusing on ensuring the accuracy and control of documents according to engineering, procurement, and project requirements.
Job Responsibilities:- Manage and control all mechanical engineering documents including drawings, technical specifications, and bulletins.
- Create, update, and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) in the SAP system.
- Ensure consistency of engineering data and technical records across different systems.
- Coordinate engineering documents between internal departments and external parties such as suppliers and consultants.
- Monitor the status of documents and reports.
- Conduct periodic reviews of SAP data.
- Train and support engineering staff on document management procedures.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical specialty.
- Experience of 0 to 3 years in document management or engineering support.
- Experience with SAP, particularly BOM and document management modules.
- Proficiency in using engineering design software and Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
