About the Sales Executive Role

Matar Holding Company is seeking a proactive Sales Executive to join its Auto Parts division in Sakaka, Al Jawf, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to driving sales and strengthening the company's market presence within the competitive auto spare parts sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the local market, established relationships with workshops, retailers, and dealers, and the ability to effectively identify and meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily visits to workshops, dealers, and retailers to promote Matar Holding Company's auto parts products, secure orders, and achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain a consistent presence in the assigned territory, ensuring regular customer engagement and developing new accounts to expand market share.
  • Utilize knowledge of car makes and models, fast-moving SKUs, pricing trends, and competitor offerings to advise customers and optimize sales.
  • Build trust-based relationships with mechanics, shop owners, and purchasing managers to encourage repeat business and foster customer loyalty.
  • Ensure all orders comply with approved price lists, safeguarding profit margins and avoiding unauthorized discounts.
  • Report on competitor pricing, promotions, and market activities to provide valuable market intelligence for management decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the branch sales team and logistics department to ensure stock availability, timely deliveries, and a smooth customer experience.
  • Actively introduce and promote new company SKUs, such as coolants and radiators, educating customers on their benefits.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A high school certificate is acceptable if complemented by proven market experience.
  • A strong understanding of the automotive spare parts market in KSA, including familiarity with workshops, retailers, and distributors.
  • Proficiency in identifying car makes and models and matching them with the correct parts.
  • Familiarity with fast-moving versus slow-moving SKUs, pricing structures, and typical trade margins in the auto parts industry.
  • Awareness of competitors' products, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of outdoor sales experience specifically within the automotive spare parts sector.
  • A demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Established customer relationships and a robust network within the market.
