In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with the Head of Operations to balance daily operational needs with strategic foresight. Your main responsibilities include overseeing the seamless integration of new fleet vehicles (both Electric and ICE), establishing robust management processes, and negotiating key rental contracts. With your expertise in fleet management and a knack for optimizing costs, you'll ensure our vehicles uphold the highest standards while minimizing downtime.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• Support the Head of Operations with daily tasks and long-term strategic planning.
• Oversee the acquisition and integration of a minimum of 30 fleet vehicles in Jeddah, KSA.
• Create a management structure for fleet vehicles, including servicing, licensing, insurance, etc.
• Work with charging partners to ensure a robust charging infrastructure for the EV fleet.
• Negotiate and manage rental contracts with various stakeholders.
• Manage vehicle utilization to meet lease conditions.
• Identify and manage fleet facility for vehicle storage.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to minimize downtime and ensure compliance documentation is up to date.

ABOUT YOU:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proven track record in Fleet Management.
• Experience in negotiating and managing contracts.
• Responsible for financial aspects of a business segment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fleet & Maintenance Manager to oversee the operational efficiency, maintenance, and strategic planning of the company's fleet and equipment. The ideal candidate will bring experience in developing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs, implementing best practices in equipment maintenance, and managing assets using modern ERP or SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize daily fleet operations including assignment, tracking, utilization, and cost control.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program across all vehicles and equipment.
• Oversee scheduling and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Ensure full compliance with vehicle licensing, insurance, registration, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead procurement and replacement planning of vehicles, machinery, and tools.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance history, costs, fuel consumption, and downtime.
• Utilize ERP/SAP platforms for asset tracking, maintenance planning, and performance analytics.
• Establish fleet and maintenance KPIs and generate management reports for performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal departments to ensure operational readiness.
• Implement and enforce safety policies, driving standards, and operational protocols for all drivers and maintenance staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Automotive Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in fleet and equipment maintenance, preferably in Facility Management or Construction environments.
• Proven experience in TPM development and execution.
• Solid knowledge of ERP or SAP maintenance modules and fleet management software.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and planning skills.
• Understanding of Saudi transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance, service, and upgrades with service providers.
• Ensure effective use of planned maintenance systems for operational efficiency.
• Conduct surveys, inspections, and certifications in compliance with classification requirements.
• Develop a newbuilding strategy aligning with operational needs and net zero targets.
• Coaching and developing marine services crews to promote safety.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a related marine industry.
• Formal qualifications as a Marine Chief Engineer, Naval Architect, or Mechanical Engineer.
• Experience in fleet management at a cluster or global level.
• Knowledge of decarbonization initiatives in marine industries.
• Strong project management skills and a self-starter attitude.
