As a Laboratory Technique Specialist, you will play a vital role in performing routine clinical laboratory tests across various fields including hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology. Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive blood and body fluid samples and initiate pre-analytical processing.
  • Perform daily checks on laboratory equipment for safety and functionality.
  • Conduct analytical processes using hematology and biochemistry lab machines.
  • Execute daily quality control tests on reagents.
  • Analyze blood cells using microscopy techniques.
  • Maintain laboratory supplies inventory and manage orders.
  • Prepare and present reports of technological findings accurately.
  • Adhere to infection-control and hazardous waste policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Work Environment:
Indoors: 100%
Working Days: 6 days per week with 1 day off
Working Hours: 8 net hours according to the shift schedule approved by the head of department.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Medical Science (Laboratory Section).
  • At least 2 years of practical experience post-graduation.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in Office & Health Information Systems.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Receiving, labelling, and processing patient specimens, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids, following standard protocols and safety procedures.
  • Preparing specimens for analysis, centrifuging blood samples, aliquoting urine samples, and performing pre-analytical processing steps to ensure sample integrity.
  • Performing a variety of routine laboratory tests and analyses, including hematology, clinical chemistry, immunology, microbiology, and coagulation assays, using manual techniques or automated instrumentation.
  • Operating laboratory equipment, such as hematology analyzers, chemistry analyzers, and microscopes, to process and analyze patient samples accurately.
