As a Social Worker, you will engage with patients and their families to enhance their quality of life and access to crucial medical services.
Role Overview:You will work within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) dedicated to providing psychosocial support to patients undergoing hemodialysis and those living with chronic diseases such as renal failure, diabetes, and hypertension. Your role will involve:
- Patient education and counselling regarding their medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Implementing individualized social care plans while adhering to international standards and local regulations.
- Monitoring patient experiences and following up on initiatives to elevate patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide counselling as required.
- Utilize your skills to guide patients in making necessary lifestyle changes and adhering to their treatment regimens.
- Collaborate actively with the MDT to ensure effective healthcare delivery and quality of life improvements.
Qualifications:- Certified Social Worker by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work; a Master’s is preferred.
- Experience in a clinical setting or social care is favorable, particularly with chronic disease management.
- Fluency in Arabic and basic English; advanced MS Office skills are required.
