Join Thales as a Maintenance System Engineer for the Air Defense System in Jiddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you'll be part of a dynamic team working on innovative solutions that enhance security and operational performance.
As a Maintenance System Engineer, you will:
- Support the Maintenance & Technical Support Depot (MTSD) team with specialized advice and assistance.
- Monitor, analyze, and recommend corrective actions for operational availability and system performance.
- Evaluate performance metrics of the system and maintain data handling and communication equipment.
- Conduct diagnostic checks, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure radar and C2 systems are operationally ready.
- Collaborate with Contractor Experts for complex problem-solving and system readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Radar Technology.
- Specialized training and certification in Radars and/or C2 systems.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French and Arabic is considered an advantage.
Experience:
- 35 years of operational and maintenance experience with PSR/SSR Radars, C2, and communication equipment.
- Involvement with installation, testing, integration, as well as upgrades and modifications of radar systems.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
