  • Hand over the beneficiary neatly at the end of the program with all their belongings to the on-duty person or bus supervisor hand-to-hand.
  • Adhere to monitoring the beneficiary's exit for services and report any malfunction in the schedule.
  • Report the need for beneficiaries for specific interventions or nominate them for the clinic.
  • Write notes for support services if there are difficulties in training, to be given to the assistant.
  • Monitor the performance of beneficiaries, write observations, and report any emergency or changes concerning the beneficiary to the technical administration.
  • Report any malfunction, defect, or required tasks.
  • Communicate with parents after consulting the supervisor.
  • Contribute to the visiting mother program and deal with parents' inquiries flexibly and objectively.

About the Role

This role is integral to providing essential support to patients and their families during challenging periods. The Social Worker will focus on safeguarding vulnerable individuals, including children and adults, and ensuring care aligns with international standards, hospital practices, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive support to patients and their families during difficult times.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable individuals, including children and adults, from harm.
  • Deliver care in accordance with international standards, established practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and consistent adherence to Allied Health service standards.
  • Act as a role model by developing and supporting the Allied Health Service team to achieve high clinical and operational performance standards.
  • Collaborate with nursing and allied health staff, interdisciplinary teams, executive officers, and other stakeholders in program and service development, implementation, and evaluation.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Possession of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Social Work.
  • A valid license or registration to practice your specialty from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of KSA Health Regulations.
  • Experience with international accreditation processes, such as holding a Certificate of Patient Experience Professional (CPXP), is desirable.
