Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Safety and Environment Management System (SEMS).
  • Act as the main point of contact for all safety management stakeholders.
  • Oversee the Safety and Environmental Management Plan.
  • Manage safety risks and quality issues within projects.
  • Ensure thorough investigation of all accidents and incidents.
  • Conduct formal hazard risk assessments and maintain the Hazard Log.
  • Lead Hazard Management Meetings and support Safety Action Groups.

Qualifications:
  • Educated to Honours degree level or equivalent.
  • Experience in developing Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Practical experience in naval operations or ship maintenance.
  • Knowledge of hazard management and risk assessment processes.
  • Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
  • English proficiency (IELTS or equivalent for non-native speakers).
