About The JobAn opportunity has arisen for an Executive Chef to join our Culinary Team at Jumeirah Red Sea. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes served.
- Leading and managing kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to maintain high levels of productivity and morale.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety standards and regulations, implementing hygiene practices, sanitation procedures, and HACCP principles.
- Managing food inventory levels, monitoring stock rotation, and controlling food costs.
- Establishing and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure ingredient availability.
- Conducting menu costing analysis and monitoring expenses to achieve financial targets.
About YouThe successful candidate will bring over 10 years of international experience within five-star hotels and restaurants. They should demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong leadership and team management skills, organizational capabilities, and effective problem-solving skills.
