About the RoleAs a Technical Sales Engineer in Mining, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and delivering value-added chemical solutions to the mining industry across Saudi Arabia. Based in Dammam, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and providing technical support for our portfolio of mining reagents, including collectors, frothers, and flocculants.
This role combines strategic sales with on-the-ground technical engagement, requiring regular visits to mine sites, collaboration with operations teams, and close coordination with supply chain and global principals. Your expertise in mineral processing and customer-centric mindset will ensure the successful implementation of chemical solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency in mining operations.
Responsibilities- Drive strategic business growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new customers and mining projects across the region.
- Promote and sell a specialized range of mining chemical solutions, including collectors, frothers, flocculants, and other process aids tailored to mineral processing operations.
- Deliver hands-on technical support through site visits, product trials, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal application and customer satisfaction.
- Foster strong, solution-driven partnerships with key stakeholders at mine sites, including procurement, operations, and technical teams.
- Coordinate closely with supply chain teams and global principals to ensure timely delivery, inventory management, and product availability.
- Continuously monitor market developments, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Mining Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales within the mining or mineral processing chemicals sector.
- In-depth understanding of mineral processing operations and chemical applications in flotation, separation, and water treatment.
- Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with clients.
- Willingness to travel extensively, including to remote mine sites across Saudi Arabia.
