Job Purpose:Your main responsibility will be to support the Production, Maintenance, Reliability, and PID departments by addressing existing equipment issues and contributing to new equipment designs. This role is crucial in optimizing efficiency, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Electrical Engineering support for maintenance and operation of electrical equipment.
- Assist in training sessions for operators and engineers.
- Participate in audits to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide trouble-shooting support for electrical engineering activities.
- Evaluate vendors, designs, and proposals for compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in fit-for-service evaluations of electrical equipment.
- Support project teams with electrical engineering insights for cost and work estimates.
Candidate Requirements:- Experience in HV – High Voltage Power Systems.
- Expertise in transformer/motor/generator selection and sizing.
- Knowledge of conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering.
- Familiarity with hazard area classifications and engineering studies using ETAP.
- Strong ability in performing various electrical engineering calculations (*, load flow, short circuit).
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 15+ years of relevant experience.
