We are seeking a dedicated professional to prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for our construction projects. In this pivotal role, you will monitor and manage project costs, ensuring alignment with established budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for construction projects.
• Monitor and manage project costs to ensure alignment with budgets.
• Update the cost control report bi-weekly and revise it monthly to address corrective actions as needed.
• Identify and evaluate cost-saving opportunities.
• Perform regular Cost Variance Reports (CVR) to compare actual costs against forecasted values.
• Track project performance, profitability, and variances while providing actionable insights to project teams and stakeholders.
• Develop quantity release and installation curves for assigned disciplines or specialties.
• Review and approve invoice verifications for payment based on cost-loaded schedules.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Proficiency in Primavera is a must.
• 5+ years of experience in Construction Management.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); experience in construction work on-site is a plus.

What You'll Be Doing

• Contribute to creating and implementing best practices, cost estimating vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
• Make accurate project cost estimates (from Class 5 to Class 1 estimate levels).
• Support continuous improvement through cost engineering techniques, identifying inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities.
• Analyze and identify key areas of improvement and apply cost estimation techniques to drive cost reductions.
• Review, analyze, and understand economic trends and consider risks and cost implications.
• Utilize cost methodologies and appropriate software models to prepare reliable and accurate data.
• Ensure consistent cost engineering management processes are applied in the business.
• Oversee cost benchmarking exercises and maintain a database of consultants, vendors, contractors, and sub-contractors’ rates.
• Ensure appropriate monitoring and reporting systems are in place to meet objectives.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s in quantity surveying, engineering or cost engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Cost Control / Estimating on large projects.
• Preferably certified in CEP or MCIOB or MCIArab.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Databases).
• Excellent Arabic / English verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of working internationally, preferably in KSA.
