  • Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at substation project sites.

  • Review and approve Method Statements (MS), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Risk Assessments (RA).
  • Monitor high-risk activities such as:
    • Live electrical work
    • Energization & switching activities
    • Cable pulling, termination, and testing
    • Working at height and lifting operations
  • Ensure proper implementation of Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and emergency drills.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and commissioning teams to ensure safe execution of work.
  • Maintain HSE documentation, safety records, and daily site reports.
  • Ensure availability and correct usage of PPE at all times.

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Safety-related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in Substation / Electrical Projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Electrical safety standards and substation construction & commissioning activities.
  • Good understanding of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and OSHA, NFPA, IEC standards.
