Warehouse Supervisor (نظام شفتات)
1. Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the complete supervision of daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing inventory, and managing a team working on the shift system. The supervisor ensures operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, compliance with safety and quality standards, and facilitates smooth communication and transition of work between different shifts.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Operations Management and Shift Supervision:
Direct supervision of all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, inventory, packing, and loading/unloading.
Assigning tasks and prioritizing work for the shift team to ensure daily goals are met.
Ensuring effective coordination and communication between the current shift and the next shift to ensure smooth and accurate handover of tasks and information.
Monitoring employee performance during the shift and providing necessary training and support.
Preparing end-of-shift reports summarizing achievements and any outstanding issues that need to be followed up.
B. Inventory Management and Accuracy:
Supervising periodic and surprise inventory counts to ensure inventory records match with the system (WMS/ERP).
Identifying and managing obsolete or damaged inventory and taking appropriate actions according to established policies.
Ensuring proper and organized storage of goods according to safety and storage requirements.
C. Safety and Quality:
Ensuring all shift employees adhere to occupational health and safety regulations and procedures.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
Supervising the maintenance of equipment and devices used during the shift (such as forklifts).
D. People Management and Development:
Scheduling employee shifts and covering operational needs.
Evaluating shift employees' performance and providing constructive feedback.
Identifying training needs and providing necessary training for new and existing employees.
3. Requirements and Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of [2 to 5] years of warehouse management experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role, preferably in a shift-based work environment.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

4. Special Working Conditions
