Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor pool areas and enforce safety rules to prevent accidents.

• Perform water rescues and administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe pool environment.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and report any issues.
• Assist with basic pool maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Swimming Instructor to lead learn-to-swim programs and provide exceptional customer service. This role includes various responsibilities to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct group and private swimming lessons.
• Evaluate participant swimming abilities and determine appropriate swim levels.
• Create a safe and inviting experience for all participants.
• Discuss course evaluations with parents/guardians as needed.
• Meet all scheduled class times punctually and prepared for teaching.
• Attend all staff meetings and adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Complete planning and paperwork associated with the classes.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned and complete incident reports as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Degree-seeking student at UAB.
• Previous experience in swim instruction is preferred, or willingness to undergo training.
• Current American Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Ability to manage class participants and effectively communicate with parents/guardians.
• Knowledge of emergency response protocols.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

• Occasional bending, stooping, and lifting required.
• Ability to stand and walk for several hours.

As a Swimming Pool Technician, your main responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing the hotel's swimming pools, spas, and related equipment. You will ensure the cleanliness and safety of the pool water, conduct routine maintenance, and resolve any technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform regular maintenance and repairs on swimming pools, spas, and equipment.
• Water Quality: Test and adjust chemical levels in the pool to maintain safety standards.
• Cleaning: Ensure cleanliness of the pool area, including vacuuming and skimming debris.
• Equipment Management: Inspect and maintain all pool equipment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to local health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Join Our Team as a Pool Technician!

At The Red Sea EDITION, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to ensure our guests enjoy flawless service regarding our pool facilities. As a member of our engineering and facilities team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our luxurious pools and resources.

Role Responsibilities:

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests related to pool maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools and equipment visually.
• Maintain maintenance inventory; requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with guests about maintenance issues and resolve them promptly.
• Assure daily activities and issues are communicated to other shifts.
• Display proficiency in areas such as air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Use and maintain hand and power tools safely.
• Carry out minor repairs (*, plumbing, electrical equipment) and program TVs.
• Follow company safety and security policies, reporting any issues or injuries.
• Lift and move objects as necessary, adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Vocational or technical background is preferred.
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
• Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification is required.
