Join Our Team as an Arabic Teacher!We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Arabic Teacher to join our growing school community in Amaala, Saudi Arabia. Role Overview:The Arabic Teacher will deliver high-quality Arabic language instruction to both native and non-native speakers, often within multigrade classes where students of different ages, stages, and language profiles may learn together. In the lower years, native and non-native Arabic speakers will be taught in the same class, requiring strong differentiation skills and flexible planning. Arabic is a national subject in Saudi Arabia, and the role requires careful alignment of the Saudi national curriculum objectives within the school’s International Baccalaureate (IB) framework and philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging Arabic lessons for native and non-native speakers across a range of ages and abilities.
- Differentiation in multigrade classes to ensure age and grade-level objectives are met.
- Align Arabic teaching with Saudi national requirements while embedding IB approaches to teaching and learning.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, including homeroom teachers.
- Contribute flexibly to the wider life of the school as needs evolve.
Essential Requirements:- Degree in Arabic.
- Native-level Arabic proficiency.
- Strong experience or confidence working in multigrade classrooms.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing class structures.
Desired Skills:- Experience with the International Baccalaureate (PYP and/or MYP).
- Experience supporting wider school activities.
- Saudi nationality and/or experience working in the country.
