Job Summary:The quality technician contributes to monitoring and ensuring the quality of materials and products at various stages of production to achieve full compliance with standards. He inspects materials and outputs, identifies the causes of defects, and implements continuous improvement processes such as ISO 9001.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or diploma in quality engineering.
Experience Required:Experience of not less than two years in an industrial environment in the field of quality.
Professional Certifications:Professional certification in quality such as ASQ.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Carry out inspections to verify compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and AS 9100.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection and testing results.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
- Communicate with suppliers and vendors to address quality issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff regarding quality standards and procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis of any failures or nonconformities in quality.
- Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions taken to prevent recurrence of errors.
Skills:The ability to work independently and within a team, high attention to detail and analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of industry regulations and standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 9100, and an in-depth understanding of quality control principles and practices.
