Role Overview

The Production Senior Operator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of production machinery. This includes adhering to strict operational procedures and contributing to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. The position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and a commitment to maintaining asset efficiency and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct condition monitoring by observing asset status and analyzing real-time data to prioritize maintenance activities, minimize costs, and reduce asset downtime while maintaining optimal asset efficiency.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing Principles, including Just in Time (JIT), Six Sigma, Ishikawa, 5S, SMED, PDCA, and other related tools to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Operate all required production machinery, performing all necessary steps and activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or other applicable instructions.
• Apply knowledge of the variety of machinery, spare parts, tools, and other items utilized in NAPCO's maintenance practices.
• Utilize knowledge of NAPCO's machines, tools, and labor to manufacture company products, and understand the general process of transforming raw materials into finished goods.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A foundational understanding of Condition Monitoring techniques and their application in an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Principles and associated tools such as Just in Time (JIT), Six Sigma, Ishikawa, 5S, SMED, and PDCA.
• Proficiency in Machine Operation, including the ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Basic knowledge of Maintenance Practices within a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of Manufacturing processes, including the use of machinery, tools, and labor to transform raw materials into finished goods.
