Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with Hilton's standards.
- Ensure efficient food production within set timeframes.
- Support the kitchen by helping to control food costs.
- Maintain cleanliness in all working areas and prevent cross-contamination.
- Prepare all mis-en-place for relevant menus.
- Assist other departments as necessary and foster strong working relationships.
- Report any maintenance, hygiene, or hazard issues promptly.
- Adhere to hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety laws.
- Strive to meet departmental targets as part of the team.
- Comply with all health and hygiene requirements.
Qualifications:- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Apprentice Chef.
- NVQ Level 1.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team.
- Passion for food and culinary arts.
- Basic food hygiene certificate.
- Completion of an accredited commercial cookery course or trade apprenticeship.
