Tasks and Responsibilities
• Promoting the message of Joffrey Coffee and Tea Company and acting in accordance with it.
• Receiving and processing customer payments.
• Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffee, and tea.
• Taking customer orders and relaying them to other staff for preparation.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Explaining menu items to customers or suggesting products that may appeal to them.
• Cleaning service or seating areas.
• Serving ready-to-eat foods, such as all baked goods.
• Preparing and serving menu items, such as sandwiches and salads.
• Setting up or restocking product displays.
• Weighing, grinding, and packaging coffee beans for customers.
• Supplying customer service stations with paper products or beverage preparation tools.
• Packaging food items for sale, labeling them, and dating them.
• Providing customers with product details, such as coffee types or preparation methods.
• Taking out the trash.
• Ordering, receiving, and storing supplies or retail products.
• Cutting fruits, vegetables, and desserts for use in food service.
• Checking the temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, and heating devices to ensure they are functioning safely.
• Explaining how to use retail equipment, such as espresso machines.
• Attending all scheduled staff meetings and making suggestions for improvements.
• Coordinating with colleagues and assisting them to meet customer needs and support the workflow in the store.
• Performing colleagues' tasks when needed to ensure customer service standards and operational efficiency.
