Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Commercial Manager in coordinating and resolving contractual and commercial issues and claims with various internal and external departments.
  • Maintain and foster strong relationships with business partners, including shippers, consignees, brokers, transporters, and insurance companies.
  • Organize, plan, and implement commercial strategies effectively.
  • Manage projects, understanding the importance of delegation and effective task assignment.
  • Supervise and distribute work among internal and external departments.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly work plans of employees to ensure productivity and adherence to schedules.
  • Follow up on instructions and directives on a daily basis.
  • Document claims statistics and coordinate with lines, brokers, and transporters under the supervision of senior officers and assistant managers.
  • Take accountability for job responsibilities and strive to achieve set goals.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures as required.
  • Follow up on claims and complaints, providing weekly and monthly updates to management.
  • Manage government relations and liaise with authorities, providing daily updates to management on relevant social and regulatory matters.
  • Maintain and leverage a strong social network, monitoring relevant platforms closely.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or an Associate degree.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the industry is preferred.
  • Must possess a commercial and social network.
  • Good operational experience is required.
  • Must have good relations and a network within local industries.
  • Local social involvement is considered beneficial for the company.
  • Good command of Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/Workflows.
  • Good experience in customer care.
  • Must understand the local working culture and have good relations in the local market.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Mandarin language proficiency is a required skill.
