Position Overview:The Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for implementing an effective physical education curriculum that encourages students to develop their physical skills and adopt healthy lifestyle habits.
Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate a commitment to child safety and protection.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum objectives.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of students of varying abilities.
- Create a safe and encouraging learning environment.
- Design innovative games and activities to enhance student participation.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the High School Assistant Principal.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Valid teaching certification.
- Physical fitness and a passion for health and sports.
Experience and Skills:The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior experience as a PE Teacher.
- Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of various exercise types.
