About the Role

ALPLA Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-process inspections of the production line according to the Daily Inspection Plan (CAQ) and accurately enter inspection results into the CAQ system.
  • Verify the effectiveness of line clearance procedures and provide approval for production to commence packing.
  • Prepare and submit daily inspection results in the CAQ system.
  • Update the line clearance checklist at the machine.
  • Maintain the line clearance folder.
  • Update the machine sample box with approved samples for each changeover, as part of line clearance.
  • Ensure and maintain cleanliness and orderliness within designated work areas.
  • Conduct additional inspections as required by supervisors or management.
  • Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as defined by your supervisor and manager.
  • Perform product evaluations based on test procedures, product specifications, and the daily inspection plan (CAQ), entering all data into the CAQ system for both normal production and AQP test samples.
  • Apply Quality Hold or Reject stickers to non-conforming products identified during in-process inspections, measurement checks, or spot checks in the warehouse, and block them within ALPLA Stock.
  • Maintain the in-house calibration schedule for CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and Magna-Mike equipment.
  • Prepare the Certificate of Analysis (CoA) as required.
  • Monitor and record temperature and humidity levels within the laboratory.
  • Update counter storage samples in the samples cabinet, ensuring the inclusion of last run samples.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Quality Control Inspector.
  • Must have completed at least a Higher Diploma.
  • Must be able to work on rotating shifts, be available for call-outs, and work weekends and overtime as required.
  • Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
  • Commitment to acting in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by adhering to all ALPLA policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate punctuality, a positive attitude, responsibility, effective department integration, respect for personnel, strictness in following procedures, accuracy in work, and adherence to Health & Safety (H&S) standards.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
