• Receive, record, and process cash, cheque, and bank transfer payments accurately.
• Issue official receipts and document all collections appropriately.
• Prepare daily cash collection reports and reconcile cash balances.
• Ensure timely deposit of cash collections into the bank.
• Maintain accurate petty cash and bank records.
• Perform bank reconciliations within defined timelines.
• Coordinate with Finance and Operations teams regarding customer payments and outstanding balances.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a cashier, accounts payable, or finance role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Coffee Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring adherence to standard recipes and presentation requirements for consistent quality.
• Guest Service and Engagement: Create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests, offering menu assistance, and handling inquiries or complaints effectively.
• Operational Support and Compliance: Comply with HACCP Intermediate standards and Front-of-House SOPs while supporting inventory checks and product quality assessments.
• Guest Experience: Deliver outstanding service for a memorable café experience, gather feedback, and address any concerns to maintain our service quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HACCP Intermediate certification (mandatory).
• Minimum 1 year experience as a barista or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with food service standards and strong communication skills.

• Ensure all cash floats are in place across the hotel.
• Collect daily cash takings and reconcile them against receipts and the accounting system.
• Complete daily reports for the Finance Manager.
• Deposit cash takings with the bank on a daily basis.
• Provide the Front Desk with daily currency exchange rates to ensure excellent service to our customers.

Barista (Experience Required)

Job Description:

We are looking for a professional barista at Castello Coffee who has actual experience in preparing specialty coffee, capable of working within a team and committed to high-quality standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Preparing hot and cold beverages according to Castello standards

Operating the espresso machine and grinder professionally

Adhering to coffee recipes and quality of service

Providing excellent customer service and achieving a unique experience

Maintaining cleanliness in the work area and tools

Committing to working hours and internal regulations

Conditions and Requirements:

Experience of at least one year as a barista (essential requirement)

Good knowledge of specialty coffee and its types

Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure

Commitment and discipline

Preferably someone with previous experience in specialty cafes
