Job Summary:

The Restaurant Receptionist / Host serves as the face of the restaurant, ensuring each guest receives a personalized, memorable, and seamless dining experience. This role combines hospitality excellence with brand representation—welcoming guests warmly, managing reservations and special requests, and promoting the restaurant’s image, values, and signature offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet all arriving guests with a warm, professional, and courteous demeanor. 

  • Accurately manage and organize all dining reservations.

  • Implement and manage an effective waitlist system during peak hours. Skillfully manage and control crowds in the reception/waiting area, ensuring guest comfort and adherence to fire safety and capacity regulations.

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the current menu, daily specials, restaurant promotions, and general operational policies to inform and assist guests accurately.

  • Maintain the host station and immediate guest waiting areas (*, entrance lobby) in a neat, organized, and presentable condition at all times.

  • Act as the central communication point between the front-of-house management, serving staff, and the kitchen to ensure seating decisions align with service capabilities.
