About the Duty Manager Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Duty Manager to join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management of guest experiences, team performance, and overall hotel operations.

• Engage in direct communication with guests to resolve issues, queries, or concerns.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for critical emergency situations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification; some college education is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk or guest service leadership role.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends is required.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working evenings and weekends as required.

• Direct the work assignments of supervisory and non-supervisory staff to ensure prompt and courteous service.
• Conduct checks of the Public Areas and Floors to maintain cleanliness and good repair of furnishings and equipment.
• Ensure special attention to VIP guests and rooms to meet hotel standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain hotel appearance and room status.
• Assist in recruitment, performance management, and training of housekeeping staff.
• Conduct monthly training sessions to address identified training needs.
• Schedule routine inspections of all housekeeping areas, including occupied and non-occupied rooms.
• Control usage of amenities and cleaning supplies to comply with budget.
• Monitor housekeeping procedures including Lost and Found, Key Control, and Health and Safety protocols.
